POSITION SUMMARY
Modern Government Solutions is seeking a multi-faceted Software Engineer to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software systems. You will be an intracell and important part of the team, and the projects they will support.
As a Software Engineer, will support our Mount Laurel, New Jersey location. We support Department of Defense (DoD) and international customers by planning, implementing and testing systems and software for advanced radar and threat simulator systems. We specialize in the development of advanced radar systems and radar related products for the DoD and other U.S. Government agencies. Our radar programs involve all phases of development from requirements generation through hardware and software design, fabrication, integration and test.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software systems.
Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
B.S/M.S. Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
Active DoD Secret security clearance.
Experience working with Embedded, Hardware controls and/or Real-time systems.
Generally, 4-10 years of related software development experience
Experience working with Linux and Windows Environments.
Software development experience with C/C++ and C#/.Net.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Experience working with Instrumentation or Tracking Radars.
Experience leading small teams and projects.
Strong math background, with strong analytical skills.
Experience with Radar systems.
Experience working with the following: Qt Creator, Visual Studio, Git, GitLab, GitHub, Google Test, CxxTest, xUnit, CMake.
Experience with DoD Lifecycle development and/or Agile methodologies.
Software Development experience with continuous integration, test-driven development.
