Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Sales Engineer who can shape and elevate the technical sales function within a dynamic, high-growth healthcare technology environment. This is a role for a proven technical leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution, having repeatedly turned vision into scalable, value-driven solutions in the healthcare IT and SaaS spheres.
Your deep domain expertisespanning patient access workflows, EHRs, interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7), data analytics, and cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP)will be front and center as you guide enterprise prospects and clients through complex decision-making processes. Buyers of our platform often require direct engagement with senior technical experts before committing, and you will be that trusted authority. Beyond excelling as an individual contributor, you will build and mentor a high-performing sales engineering team capable of replicating and scaling your success across an expanding customer base.
Working in close collaboration with sales, product, marketing, and solution engineering teams, you will craft a compelling technical narrative that resonates with payers, providers, life sciences organizations, and other enterprise customers. Your leadership will accelerate deal cycles, inform product roadmaps, and help solidify our position as a transformative force in healthcare technologystreamlining referral networks, enabling data-driven care models, and ultimately delivering measurable outcomes for large, complex healthcare ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Technical Vision & Architecture
Define and implement a scalable technical sales strategy that aligns with long-term organizational growth objectives and market demands.
Shape solution architectures and reference frameworks that consistently deliver secure, compliant, and outcomes-focused solutionsparticularly in complex healthcare IT environments.
Influence product roadmaps based on field insights, ensuring solutions stay aligned with emerging interoperability trends, regulatory requirements, and the evolving priorities of enterprise healthcare clients.
Client Engagement & Executive Influence
Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-level executives, IT leaders, and business stakeholders across a diverse healthcare ecosystem.
Serve as a recognized thought leader through conference presentations, webinars, and executive briefings, enhancing our brand presence in the market.
Field Enablement
Establish best practices, training programs, and performance metrics that foster a culture of innovation, efficiency, and consistent technical excellence.
Partner with sales, marketing, partnerships and product management teams to streamline lead-to-close processes, reduce friction, and ensure seamless solution delivery to clients.
Interoperability & Compliance Leadership
Tailor blockit solution design to account for various EHR systems in use, ensuring our platform remains adaptable, regulatory-aligned, and future-ready.
Continually assess and incorporate industry standards, emerging technologies (AI/ML, real-time analytics), and relevant compliance updates to keep our offering at the forefront of digital health transformation.
Continuous Improvement & Scaling-Up
Leverage analytics to refine strategies, measure pre- and post-sale effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement in both technical and commercial performance.
Provide actionable insights back to leadership teams, informing product evolution and go-to-market strategies.
Qualifications
Skills and Abilities:
Healthcare IT & Integration Mastery
Extensive experience in healthcare SaaS and application workflows, including end-user workflows, EHR integration, data pipelines, and interoperability frameworks.
Demonstrated ability to navigate regulatory complexity and drive secure, compliant solutions that enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiencies.
Technical Depth & Business Acumen
Deep familiarity with cloud platforms, APIs, microservices, and advanced analytics tools.
Strong commercial sense, enabling the translation of technical capabilities into compelling, value-based sales narratives.
