Requirements:
Valid Idaho teaching license with Special Education endorsement
Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
Minimum of two years classroom teaching experience in special education
Reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated workspace
Proficiency in virtual learning platforms and digital educational resources
Strong skills in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Experience with various assessment tools and progress monitoring techniques
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with families and other educators remotely
Adaptability to provide engaging online learning experiences
Strong time management and organizational skills
Desired:
Experience with rural education and its unique challenges
Familiarity with universal design for learning (UDL) principles
Background in serving students with autism spectrum disorders
