The Registered Dietitian role is an important patient advocate and member of the primary care team within ENCG. This role empowers our patients to be an active participant in their own health outcomes and assist in overcoming barriers to improved dietary health.
Flexible working hours: Mon Fri 8- Hour shifts with hour flexibility (Not WAH)
Heres how youll make a difference in this role:
Provide telephonic, virtual, group and onsite face-to-face patient coaching and support.
Collaborate with patients and ENCG clinicians to assess dietary health needs, establish health improvement plans, set personalized evidence-based goals, and support them in achieving those goals.
Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to collaborate with patients to improve clinical outcomes.
Preferred qualifications:
Bilingual in Spanish
CHES (Certified Health Education Specialist)
CDE/BC-ADM Certification
Motivational interviewing training and experience
Masters degree
EPIC experience
Minimal Requirements:
Registered Dietitian (AZ licensure required)
Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field
Strong clinical skills with at least 3 years of Registered Dietitian experience
* Develop action plans that drive clinical value for patients and the organization.
Proven administrative abilities, with strong computer and software application skills.
Understand and own a variety of clinical targets and outcome measurements
Ideal background:
Experience and a passion for patients with nutritional diseases, such as diabetes, to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy, 1:1 nutrition counseling, group self-management education, assess health and nutritional needs, develop meal plans, and follow up on compliance.
Demonstrate a high energy level, with dynamic presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and proactively collaborate professionally with a multi-disciplinary team.
Patient-centric focus
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
