Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson MedTech Surgery is recruiting for a Project Manager, MTST Portfolio Transformation, (GSM), Endomech and Energy, preferably based in Cincinnati, Ohio or Raritan, NJ. Remote work options may be considered on a case-by-case basis and if approved by the Company. This position is a limited Duration Assignment that is anticipated to last approximately 2 years: Eligibility for severance.

The MedTech Surgery organization was recently established to combine Ethicon’s market-leading surgical portfolio with the Robotics & Digital Solutions portfolio. The MedTech Surgical organization is comprised of: Wound Closure & Healing and Biosurgery, Endo Mechanical and Energy, OTTAVA (Surgical Robotics), MONARCH (Flexible Robotics), and MedTech Digital.

The Project Manager, MTST Portfolio Transformation, GSM, reports to the Portfolio Transformation DRI, GSM, Endomech and Energy. Major duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities
• Be responsible for the timeline and KPIs for the project and recommend mitigation plans as appropriate.
• Identify critical paths, roadblocks and risks, offer solutions, and flag any risks in timely manner to ensure project goals are achieved.
• Collaborate with Global Pricing team and regions to ensure the implementation of approved pricing strategies in key markets across the regions. Recommend alternative plans as needed to deliver the project objectives.
• Track and communicate project status to all project members including project meeting minutes, dashboards and project deep-dive as the need arises.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree with strong foundation in business acumen and project management
• A minimum of 5+ years of progressive business experience in roles that demonstrate increasing responsibility and expertise in relevant areas such as project management and project tracking
• Exceptional leadership and successful experience of leading flawless execution and delivering results
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with a track record of presenting ideas clearly, persuasively, and effectively with data to diverse audiences
• Critical thinking and problem-solving expertise with a demonstrated ability to achieve business results by influencing cross-functional teams and stakeholders without direct authority
• Resiliency to work in a highly matrixed organization with people with diverse background and expertise and deliver results
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience of developing strategic recommendations with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and synthesize insights into actionable strategies
• Adaptability to work with frequent changes and quickly revisit priorities of projects
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Project, Power Point and SharePoint, and Tableau software

Preferred Qualifications:
• Agile and resourceful mindset working experience
• Experience in implementing global pricing strategies to regions / local
• Experience in improving profitability in medical device industry

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $100,000 to $172,500.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

• Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year
• Sick time – up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year
• Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time – up to 40 hours per calendar year
