MGR, a Teamshares network company, is searching for a Program Manager for an aerospace manufacturing client in east San Antonio.
Job Overview: The Chemical Manufacturing Program Manager will oversee the development and implementation of a chemical nitration production facility. This role involves managing multiple projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring that all objectives are met within budget and schedule constraints while maintaining high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, strategic planning expertise, and resource management skills to drive the successful execution of technical and business initiatives.
Responsibilites:
Program Leadership and Execution:
Develop and manage detailed project plans, outlining clear goals, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
Monitor project progress, ensuring key milestones and deliverables are achieved on time and within scope.
Lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality control, to coordinate efforts and align project activities.
Optimize resource allocation, balancing priorities across multiple tasks to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Serve as the primary liaison between internal departments, senior leadership, and external stakeholders, facilitating effective communication.
Provide regular reports on project performance, identifying potential risks and proposing solutions to keep the program on track.
Risk Management and Process Improvement:
Identify potential technical, operational, and financial risks, developing proactive strategies to mitigate their impact.
Analyze program challenges, implementing problem-solving techniques to address issues efficiently and prevent delays.
Continuously evaluate project workflows, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and streamline processes.
Implement industry best practices and lessons learned from previous projects to drive continuous improvement.
Client and Compliance Management:
Maintain strong client relationships by providing timely updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring transparency in project execution.
Track and manage contract requirements, ensuring all financial, regulatory, and compliance obligations are met.
Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control guidelines throughout the manufacturing process.
Qualifications:
Active Secrete Clearance Required
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field (Aerospace or Chemical Engineering preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project or program management, preferably in manufacturing or chemical processing.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex programs involving multiple stakeholders, tight schedules, and resource constraints.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices to drive successful execution.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to influence and coordinate across departments.
