As a Product Manager (Technical) for R2L LPE Tech Products team, you will be helping to define the future of this critical operational business lane at Amazon. You will craft a business strategy, product vision & roadmap, and sequence feature sets that will drive your creative vision forward enabling some of Amazon’s biggest brands to delight millions of customers. Your focus will be on improving our associate & leader experience though a cohesive communications, reporting, and analytics products; while simultaneously increasing workplace safety and operational efficiency.

Key job responsibilities
• Manage the product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution
• Define feature sets, business requirements, measures of success, and roadmap for your products
• Prioritize engineering work while balancing the requirements of customers and stakeholders
• Evangelize the product both internally and externally
• Partner with key stakeholders in the company to identify and drive product solutions
• Define product requirements based on an advanced comprehension of the customer and technology
• Establish product goals and reviewing success metrics to achieve commercial success
• Identify, evaluate, track, and mitigate issues & risks
• Drive effective teamwork, communication, partnerships and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities.

A day in the life

This role will be focused on creating innovative and scalable solutions supporting our Learning and Development teams who manage onboarding, training, and skill progression of leaders and associates across various business lines. Solutions can range from incremental features and tech integrations to creating entirely new products and system architecture designs.

About The Team

The R2L LTP Team is a collaborative group of Product and Program managers who work cross-functionally with Business Analysts, Business Intelligence Engineers, Data Engineers, and operations stakeholders to create people-centric, business-enabling innovations for a workforce of over a hundred thousand valued associates and leaders.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics
• 4+ years of customer-facing product development and product management, including defining, launching, and optimizing product and services experience
• Experience coordinating complex products with stringent technical requirements, development cycles and schedules
• Experience with feature priotization and product roadmap tradeoffs
• Experience working with engineering and technical teams to build automated solutions

Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge of agile product development and life-cycle management process
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and online services on tight deadlines
• Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $116,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
