We are a small Engineering and Manufacturing team that is seeking an Office Administrator/Bookkeeper to process customer orders, handle accounts payable/receivable, and record financial transactions.
The role is part-time with an expected average of 30 hrs/week.
Duties
– Process customer orders
– Communicate order status to customers
– Invoice customers
– Purchasing
– Inventory management
– Accounts payable
– Accounts receivable
– Recording of financial transactions
– Bank deposits
– Bank account reconciliation
– Packing/shipping
– Travel booking
– Associates degree in Business or equivalent
– Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
– 2+ years of experience recording company financial transactions, ideally using QuickBooks
– Computer literate; Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel
– Good communications skills
– Pleasant attitude when communicating with customers
– Excellent spelling and grammar
– Strong attention to detail, data entry accuracy
– Good numerical skills
– Good organizational and time-management skills
– Possess discretion, integrity and transparency when dealing with sensitive financial data
– Willingness to do whatever is needed
– Salary: $20-30 per hr
