Position Description
This position is responsible for reviewing documentation and to verify accuracy and completeness of the entire credit package. Analyzes files in relationship to policy, government regulations and best practices to identify potential compliance weakness. Assist department management in determining opportunities to improved quality control through training and amendments to processes. Responsible for verifying the accuracy of loan staff input on documents.
Position Accountabilities
Performs a Quality Control check when required on loan packages to verify all loan documents have been property executed
Ability to understand and interpret regulations
Assists with developing and maintaining procedures for quality control related tracking and reporting
Maintains reference resources on quality control and compliance topics
Performs other work related duties as assigned
Assist with preparation of HMDA work reports
Perform pre-closing audit of loan files to ensure file is complaint with all regulatory disclosure requirements and internal procedures
Accurate, compliant and timely preparation of consumer disclosures and updating information due to changes of circumstance (COC) such as interest rate locks, re-locks and/or lock extensions, changes to loan amounts, updates or changes to fees, program changes, etc.
Review for accuracy items that are populated in the mortgage loan origination system, such as loan amount, interest rate, taxes, insurance and all other applicable fees.
Support Company regulatory training initiatives as well as all communication of and adherence to all applicable policies and procedures.
Communicate with production and operations teams, including Loan Officers, Processors and applicable management, and other departments as necessary to confirm that disclosures are appropriate and give feedback when modifications are required.

Position Qualifications
Education & Experience
This position requires a minimum of a High School Diploma
Three or more years of mortgage lending experience, or a combination of education and experience to include processing, underwriting, closing, operations, quality control and/or compliance review.
Knowledge & Skills
Working knowledge of Regulatory (FNMA/FHLMC/HUD/VA) guidelines
State and Federal regulations pertaining to mortgage, consumer and business lending.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office including superior excel skills
Must have a strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate information
Superior analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Salary offered will be based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. This position is also eligible to participate in either an applicable incentive compensation plan for the position or a discretionary profit sharing bonus program.
