Job Summary
This position is responsible for providing support to end users at company sites. The IT Application Specialist (Epicor) will work with company leadership and end users to shape existing and develop new business processes, focusing on improving future business performance. The IT Application Specialist (Epicor) will be engaged in projects such as version and functional upgrades and the implementation of Epicor solutions at all current and future sites.

Define, develop, and deploy business solutions, which may include business process design and mapping using MS Office tools, third-party apps, or other design and mapping tools
Effectively partner with the business and perform as subject matter expert (SME) and business architect on manufacturing/productions and supply chain tasks and concepts
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Implement, configure, and test Epicor solutions to ensure data integrity and support transaction/data cleanup activities when necessary
Implement, configure, and test the Epicor application to ensure a high level of data integrity
Interpersonal skills include self-awareness and the ability to deal professionally with others and always make professional judgments
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Maintain Epicor security where appropriate

Provide Epicor end-user support at all company locations
Provide formal Epicor documentation and training
Strong communication, organizational, analytical, time management, problem-solving, and planning skills
Technical components such as BAQs, BPMs, BAMs, Trackers, Dashboards, Customizations, DMT, Administration tools, Security, Crystal Reports, and SSRS
Timely and regular attendance is required to ensure workflow is not interrupted
Education & Experience
A High school diploma or GED is required; an advanced degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent is preferred; extensive experience may be considered in lieu of education
A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated business analysis or technical analyst work experience in a support or development environment working with an ERP instance in a shared service environment
A minimum of three (3) years of experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementations in a development and support role
A minimum of three (3) years of experience working with supply chain customers with a strong background and understanding of logistics, purchasing, manufacturing operations, inventory management, and warehousing disciplines
Ability to multi-task effectively, prioritize and execute tasks efficiently and according to designated milestones/timelines
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Certifications in production or manufacturing disciplines
Epicor experience to include
ERP technical and functional knowledge
Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills with attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal skills
Experience with ERP Data Management Tool, BAQ
Experience with integration tools and concepts for connecting 3rd party apps
Manufacturing or operational business experience
MRP, BOM, MOM, RF, Ship/Recv, Job management, Planning and Forecasting, capacity planning, mins/maxs, master scheduling, Routings, ECN, material management (Incl. master data knowledge), inventory management, cycle counting, ABC analysis, MES terminals, Kanban, warehouse management, storage locations, material movement, WIP, pick-pack-ship, distribution modeling, etc.?
Remote support experience
Report writing, BPMs, queries, and dashboard creation within ERP
Requires proficiency with computer hardware and software to include Microsoft Office applications, using a computer with a keyboard and mouse, navigation with a web browser, checking and sending email, and use of internet search engines
SQL experience
SSRS experience
Strong supply chain processes and reporting within ERP application
Understanding of business concepts and operations for a supply chain and technical organization
Understanding of production planning and concepts such as quality control, rework, scrap, backflush, and routings (how they affect an ERP application)
Understanding of Quote/Order to Cash process flow and relationship with ERP application
Understand supply chain dependencies in an ERP application: financial, engineering, purchasing, etc.
Understanding support structure: enterprise, company, plant, and warehouse facilities. Additionally, how to configure them in an ERP application.
Required Licensure & Certifications
Requires an active and valid driver’s license
Working Conditions
Work hours will be assigned based on business needs; however, work hours will typically be Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. By request from the department manager or department director. Work hours may include irregular hours to assist in completing special tasks or assignments
Out-of-regional travel may be required to attend training, seminars, or work-related events
Work will be performed in the field, the office, and or remote setting if the job can support remote work and is approved by the department manager and department director or executive
Special Projects
Assist the management and or executive team when requested to complete special projects and complete all assignments within a negotiated time frame established by the department manager
Completion of other duties as assigned by the department manager as it relates to the program and position
