Room Service/ In Room Dining Cast Members bring the Magic of Disney Dining directly to Guests hotel rooms. Cast Members are responsible for taking Guests orders over the phone, inputting orders into the point of sale system, receiving a high volume of phone calls, and providing exceptional service.
Responsibilities :
Provide over the top Guest Service to all Hotel Guests
Receive a high volume of phone calls
Take orders over the phone, sharing your knowledge of the menu and providing recommendations to Guests
Input guest orders into the point of sale system, ensuring proper payment is collected and order information is accurate
Independently resolve concerns and appropriately recover negative guest experiences
Coordinate with serving Cast Members to ensure efficient delivery of orders
Collect and process breakfast service preorders
Maintain cleanliness of your workspace and delivery area
Basic Qualifications :
You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role
1+ years of table service restaurant experience as a host, server, or in a culinary role
1+ years of high-volume reception experience
1+ years of cash handling experience
Knowledge of food presentation and quality standards
Demonstrated excellent Guest Service and service recovery abilities
Strong interpersonal skills
Sense of urgency and desire to work efficiently without sacrificing quality
Ability to multi-task and work in a very fast paced environment
Initiative to own and resolve Guest situations
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years Room Service/ In Room Dining work experience
1+ years in a 4/5 Star Hotel or Resort
Alcohol Awareness Training (i.e. RVP, TIPS or equivalent)
Additional Information :
SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY
Our Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Scheduling will require availability to work weekends, holidays, and have a flexible schedule when business requires.
