About the position
The Part-Time Accounting Assistant at Envision Energy will support the accounting department by handling essential tasks related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance. This role is designed for a detail-oriented individual with strong Excel skills who can work independently while assisting the Senior Accountant in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Accounts Receivable

Prepare and reconcile cash accounts through daily bank reconciliations

Inventory Accounting

Project Accounting
,
General Ledger (GL) maintenance
,
Assist in executing monthly close, cash forecast, and analysis of actuals against budget
,
Prepare journal entries, including recurring and non-recurring entries for month-end close
,
Prepare and upload journal entries for Payroll posting
,
Reconcile Purchase Orders (POs) and Purchase Requisitions (PRs) to enable invoicing in the Procurement Module
,
Reconcile balance sheet accounts
Requirements
Associates in business administration
,
2-4 years of hands-on previous accounting experience
,
Strong knowledge of Excel, including working with V-lookups, pivot tables, and other Excel formulas including ‘SUMIF’
Nice-to-haves
Preferred but not necessary experience working in Microsoft Dynamics and SAP (GL, Procurement, Inventory, Cost Controlling modules)
