About Candidate

¨      Review mortgage loan files, which includes Loan application, income documentation, appraisal report and other required documents, to ensure compliance with the department’s policies, as well as state and federal regulations.

¨      Underwrite individual mortgage loan applications to determine borrower affordability and eligibility under federal and State requirements.

¨      Review supporting documents submitted or requested from lenders, update loan tracking database systems. Issue an underwriting decision in compliance with the department/state /Federal guidelines.

¨      Review and approve/reject Lender-originated loans to ensure compliance with federal, State and Program requirements and borrower affordability per insurer/guarantor underwriting guidelines.

¨      Review and approve post-close documents in line with department, state and federal guidelines.

¨      Analyzes credit, income, assets, LTV/CLTVs in accordance with policies, procedures and guidelines. Makes decisions on the credit worthiness of the borrower based on underwriting guidelines.

¨      Communicate with processors and lenders as may be needed to ensure all parties are aware of loan status and any outstanding requirements.
