Essential Job Functions
As a member of the Firmwide Legal Recruiting & Development Department (“LRD”), t he Firmwide Legal Recruiting Specialist will provide support to the campus legal recruiting efforts across the entire organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented and changed as necessary.)
On-Campus Recruiting
Collaborate with other Kirkland offices and departments to identify efficiencies and best practices
Develop, prepare and analyze relevant reports, projections, and statistical data
Schedule screening and callback interviews
Follow up with attorneys for interview feedback
Oversee maintenance of school information charts, including CSO contacts, transcript release dates, finals dates, etc.
Coordinate and attend recruitment events
Prepare Firmwide 1L and 2L Post-Recruiting surveys, aggregate and analyze results
Track candidate pipeline information in Vi
Support local office recruiting teams
Campus Outreach
Plan law school and law student outreach including panels, podcast series, presentations, receptions, mentoring programs, etc.
Coordinate student group sponsorship requests
Set up and monitor events in Flo Recruit
Partner with marketing team to update and maintain campus engagement materials, website updates and outreach library
Track post-event attorney feedback in Vi
Oversee FW Event Tracking process
Other
Delegate to coordinators and assistant
Train team coordinators, assistants, contract workers and interns, when applicable
Maintain recruiting timelines for events and projects
Update team OneNote binders
Draft team communications
Respond to inquiries from attorneys/staff
Generate surveys using Novi Survey tool
Support Summer Associate Program, Summer and New Associate Orientation, and other LRD initiatives as needed
Respond actively, thoroughly and courteously to the needs of clients and internal requests within the firm; volunteer time and knowledge; work effectively and willingly with others
Other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education, Work Experience, Skills
Bachelor’s degree required
5+ years of experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services setting
Excellent oral and written communication skills, have strong attention to detail, strong organizational skills, demonstrate initiative, work under pressure
Ability to prioritize work and work on multiple projects in a fast paced environment
Ability to work with people at all levels and have the utmost respect for confidentiality
Be a team player; demonstrate strong client service and ability to work independently and be able to follow up with minimal instructions
Experience with Symplicity, Flo Recruit and ViDesktop preferred
Strong Microsoft Excel skills required.
