Job Summary
We are seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse/Nurse Practitioner (APP) to join our healthcare team. The APP will provide patient care in hospital and office settings, working in collaboration with a supervising physician. This role adheres to the Advanced Practice Nurse/Nurse Practitioner standards of care established in Texas.
Responsibilities
• Deliver patient care based on established medical standards and best practices.
• Perform patient assessments, triage, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and medical staff for patient care plans.
• Address barriers to care such as financial, cultural, or transportation challenges.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and follow protocols.
Education:
• Master’s Degree (BSN, MSN, or ANP)
License/Certification:
• Advanced Practice Nurse/Nurse Practitioner license in Texas; BLS required.
Skills:
• Proficiency in medical terminology and reimbursement policies.
• Strong knowledge of patient triage, diagnosis, and treatment methods.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage priorities effectively and interact with diverse groups.
Experience
• 1-2 years of experience preferred, but not required.
